Default Repairing fibreglass

I managed to hit a brick with my front splitter so have a nice load of cracks in it and I fancy having a go at repairong it myself. Is it simply a case of rubbing it down with some wet and dry, banging in some filler and spraying over it or does it get more complicated than that?

The gel coat has disintegrated and has messy bits of the 'glass poking through, will that just rub down?

What grade of wet and dry should I use to start and finish?

TIA

if its cracked right through, i would repair it from the back first

make sure its not going to allow the cracks to move about, then fill from the front

REV, why not call down and see me, I will give you a bit of fiberglass and resin, and some advice, no problem.
