A friend has been considering this for a while... However, he doesnt have internet access, so I'm asking the question!!

I'd like to know which parts are needed to convert a 93 WRX 4dr Impreza into a MY00 front end.

The parts we thought he's need were:

Front Bumper c/w STi6/P1 Splitter - £400??
Crystal Headlights - £300??
Crystal Sidelights - £100??
Crystal Foglights - £150??
STi Fog Covers - Would these still fit over the Crystal Fogs?? £100??
Clear Indicators & Side Repeaters - £100??
Bonnet c/w Scoop etc. - £300??
Grille - £100

Would he need a different set of front wings, or are they all the same 93-00??

The bonnet, he has an aluminium bonnet at the moment, am I right in thinking that only a V4/5/6 Bonnet would be both facelift style AND aluminium?? This is likely to cost big bucks isnt it??

Sorry for all the questions, just looking to find out for definite what he'll need if he decides that its the way he wants to go....

sound to me that your list is too big. The bonnet should be fine I think (alloy bonnets are a jap thing!, uk ones are made from lead, i believe), although the scoop is smaller and there are different vents on the later cars. Clear indicators aren't std, dont bother with the the fogs or covers, just get cibie oscars instead.

The facelift cars also have the white dial dash....

They converted Kevins a while back and did a great job.

You posted rough new prices. Apart from the lights most of i can be had secondhand cheaper Don't forget painting!!

Front bumper is about £150 +VAT
STI 6 Splitter is about £110 from subaru
Clear indicator/repeater sets are usually £70

You don't have to have an Ali bonnet. The UK cars had steel bonnets (they are heavier but are also stronger and alot cheaper. Steel bonnets are about £150

Don't forget your mate doesn't have to do it all at the same time!!
The later bumper will fit with the old lights , bonnet and grill. All he would need are the later indicators to get it on the car
