Removing `black trim` off rear bumper?
Ho ho.............you could do what I did and lose an argument with a large lump of concrete in a French car park. Trouble is, what's left of the black bit won't go back on
: And the bumper isn't looking too good either
:
Seriously: you need to remove IIRC a clip from the front corner, and at least one other from under the rear. The clips are the sort with a plastic "pin" through them, then when it's out, the outer part comes out too. Take your time and use a sharp pointed blade to remove the pins.
Once the clips are undone, the whole thing SLIDES off towards the rear, but it WILL be stiff, so be prepared to pull at it.
Hope this is of help.................my first suggestion is MUCH quicker though!

Not entirely true there are also to large screws that clamp the black trim to the bumper that are a bstard to remove due to the metal bodywork that holds the bumper on. If this is a MY00 car you will probably find that they are seized aswell, we managed to get mine off by putting the car on a ramp at my dealers place then undoing the bumper and tilting it back so that teh clamp screws are accessable.
Good luck you are going to need it.

Wurzel, you were right, a complete bstard. May have been easier to do it the Alcazar way and treat `em with a lump of concrete.
Anyway they`re off. Just to bodge `em back on once they`re painted.
Thanks, Neil.
