I would like to know if anyone in our comunity have a Impreza GC8 whit a original VIS Carbon Bonnet??

If you have you can take a photo of inside of the Bonnet??? Please because I would like to see how it is!! I would like to know if I can install my one scoops or if the bonnet + scoops that are in the photo of VIS site are one piece only???

I have original VIS c/f hood...you can remove all 3 scoops and replace them with yours...same as i did





btw i now have small scoops replaced with 22b scoops...& if you need more pictures i can take some no prob

So I can remove the 3 scoops in the Vis Carbon Hood and replace whit my original scoops right???

Please send me or post here some photos of inside of the carbon and whit your scoops (all) modified by you (installed your other scoops)

Nope...they are not cf, hood & big central scoop are cf...but if i remember corectly TSL have those i cf...

What does VIS stand for? Is this a known company?
Just asking because you find alot of those on Ebay and they always mention "Real VIS carbon bonnet", I wonder if those are any good or only imitations? Did anybody bought on off ebay yet?

VIS is definitely a known company, and is considered more or less the best carbon fiber hood available over here in the states. They have a fade proof guarantee I believe, and are supposed to have very thick clearcoat and its the hood I'm planning on getting soon, thanks to my girlfriend's dad backing up into me the other day...They normally retail for like 600 to 750 USD, but can be found significantly cheaper. I almost participated in a group buy dealing directly with VIS for these hoods for 500 USD shipped, but I decided against it at the last moment. I have talked to some people over on www.rs25.com that bought the hoods on ebay and they said they were the real deal, great quality....
