if i remember rightly my high level (MY99) had a bolt you can see and one under the rubber boot stopper. slightly lift the rear of the spoiler (it should rock slightly) put some rag under to protect the paintwork. pull gently to lift the front of the spoiler up which is held in place on a plastic peg and POP. should come straight off.assume you've got a low level? as far as i know removal should be the same as my high level was.

i replaced my low level MY98 with a mid level MY00
ten minutes !
undo the four nuts and pull up to unclip plugs.
i smeared a bit of sealant round bolts to be on safe side.
