i parked my car up at about 3pm today and returned within 5 minutes to find seagull sh*t on my front wing. I washed the entire car around 8pm but can see a slight mark on the paint where the sh*t was. Is it normal for for it to mark that quickly - i don't think it has gone through the lacquer. Also does anyone know any ways of getting the mark off?

Yup find the dammed bird and make it clean it, if it dont do it, grab it by the neck and use it as a cleaner

I used Meguiars Scratch X stuff which seems to work well on sorting out Bird **** marks

 

cheers mate - spoke to my local subaru dealer today who seem to think that some 15 compund and polish will do the trick - i will let you know the outcome!
