When colour coding, how much do you paint?
I've got a '99 classic and I'm just about to send it in for painting, I'm just wondering how much of the plastic gets painted? I know I have to take off the moulded mudflaps at the rear but does the little plastic tick before the rear wheel come off or does it get painted too?
Any other advice would be appreciated too.
Paul.

When I did my '98, I had the following painted, all of which I removed myself, and refitted myself, to keep costs down:
Mirrors
Door handles
Two piece side skirts
Two rear skirts
I DIDN'T paint:
The thin plastic bit at the rear of the back door/wheelarch,(the tick?)
The flexible plastic along the top edge of the side skirts
The thin plastic bit BETWEEN the two halves of the skirts
The Fexible bit around the OUTSIDE of the handles, that the handle sits in.

Cliff,
Do you spend your days hunting my threads? What you doing looking in styling anyway, what do you know about style!!
And as for painting the windows, all i need to do is put a sticker over my rear view mirror so I can't see you anymore
