WRX 03 Scoop - fitting to a classic

Quick question - I have been offered an original WRX03 scoop for my classic 99/00 Turbo.
Would it be a straight swap or is there some trimming to fit involved ?
Any advise appreciated

It has the same base shape as the STI8 scoop so, no it will not fit straight on

Even with trimming it would be a major job!
