Default polishing up exhaust pipe

want to get rid of some of the black stuff that has gathered around the ring of my ppp exhaust pipe - any ideas how to clean it up???

Yeah,use Autosol.....
Available from all good car accessory shops and comes in a gold/black tube packed in a toothpaste tube sized box!!

Yep Autosol works a treat.

I also use Brasso when I can't find the tube of Autosol. Works just as well but a tad more expensive

At least once a month I get under my Scoob and Autosol the whole BB and de-cat centre pipe. If there's time I then MER both of them !!!

Autosol with a bit of elbow grease gets 99% of all the sh*t off the pipes. I guess I'm lucky in the fact the ProDrive BB has a mirror finish to it, which makes shining it up easy and worth doing...... which probably makes me extremely sad in most peoples eyes

cheers boys - i've got some autoglym metal polish in the house - will that do the job?

Metal polish should be fine, but read the instructions as it may cause some feather like scratches if it's too gritty.
