Has anyone fitted a flamer kit to an my 01 wrx ? as I would be interested to learn all about the possibilities on buying ( where? how much? ) how you run it ? does it work on cars with catalitic converter? etc....Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

right first off seen a fair few MY01 with flamers fitted! but do really need de-catting for best effects! as for price etc can be around the £150 fitted or supplied for around £100 hope this helps! oh you could always look on ebay as there is normally some goin a huge amount cheaper!

I have one on my type r, there good but mine makes alot of mess over the bumper(soot). But I can get some fekking huge flames

CHEERS GUYS, SOUNDS LIKE I NEED TO SURF THE NET TO GET A SUPPLIER! TYPE~~R IS YOURS DE CATED & DO YOU LEAVE IT ON ALL THE TIME OR JUST FOR TRAFFIC LIGHT BURN UPS / CRUISE MEETS ETC... ? DOES THE CAR NEED TO BE HOT TO GET FLAMES, HOW BIG ARE YOUR FLAMES?

Mine is running a dectatted system and i have it on a switch so i can control its use. I works tons better when its hot. try SCC performance, sorry i dont know hoe to link. it is £100 deliverd or £150 fitted.

Its very easy to fit yourself, as long as you can either drill into your back box or use a torch from a mig/tig welder to get the hole for the spark plug the rest is a 5 minute job. If you take it to a stainless steel exhaust place of another fabricator they can do a hole for you. I used longlife the chain of s/s exhaust makers

Look here these flames are without a flamer kit, just full decat, and VTA Dump Valve
