I've got a few questions regarding mudflaps. I might end up buying the £150 ones but would rather spend £50 on a set and £100 on something else.

So:-

Anyone got Sparco flaps and how easy are they to fit?

I've seen some with little Subaru flaps on, where can I get them from bearing in mind the nearest Subaru dealer is 2 hours drive away?

I've seen an RB5 with home made flaps that used the fixings from the above mentioned flaps. Anyone know who this was and how it was done?

Cheers guys.

Had red sparco mud flaps on the scoob for a quick and easy problem solver as the side of the car was getting all sorts of road salt etc on it.
They were easy to fit which was good but wanted black ones as the car is black so we bought some mud flap material from a company in Yorkshire which was £10 for 1m square of material and cut shapes from the STI template that I found on the website and they look much better.

Saves paying £150 I guess

sarahbee has the right idea cause i done the same. yorkshirerallyspares.co.uk sell the material at £10 per metre. then you just cut it to length. gives it a proper rally car look.

I've looked at that site before and couldn't find anything about mudflaps.

I've got some diagrams of the brackets needed but I'm having trouble finding a fabricators that will make them for me. I want to get the brackets first before spending on the materials is case I can't get them made up.

Thanks for the advice.
