Registration plates
#1
Having smashed my front number plate, I need to get a new set. Was thinking of getting some made up a tad smaller. Does anyone have any contacts I can try or examples of different style plates I can see on their cars?

I've just had a set made made up for my new private plate. Front is legal minimum requirements (font, spacing etc) but the rear is standard size.

Just been looking into this for mine.
The standard plate as fitted to my WRX is 20.5"x4.5". I had a motorcycle plate made up for my previous car, a TVR, to go on the front to improve air flow (they get REALLY hot under the bonnet) and never got stopped but was maybe quite lucky. This was 10"x2".
Looking at the plate space on the front bumper of the 03 (no idea about any other year), the plate mount is 14" wide. Keeping to the ratio of the original plate, this would give a plate 3" tall.
If the character set and spacing proportions are maintained, would it be legal to fit this plate?
