Question

The brake discs on the rear have an exposed area that can be seen through the wheel and it is looking rather rusty. About to paint the callipers with calliper paint, has anyone else used calliper paint to paint the earlier mentioned rusty bit?!

Was thinking about painting the rusty bit with hammerite because if i done it with calliper paint it might look a bit too much.

Has anyone alse done this?

Did mine with a high temperature silver paint, but it just rusted again.
Tried Hammerite, and it lasted a BIT longer, but tended to pick up loads of muck.
I now have Godspeed discs on the rear, and the gold passivated finish does the trick:

I went for the hammerite in the end, looks quite good at the moment. How long it will last god knows

Will post some pics up tomorrow

Stove enammeling? i needed a quick solution

Its certainly worthwhile doing,makes them look soo much cleaner
