Time to give my Scoob another layer of wax before the sh!tty wheather comes along (as if it isn't here already!)

I've always used Autoglym's Super Resin Polish followed by a layer of Extra Gloss Protection. This may sound like a silly question but are these actually waxes???

thanks

Got Meguiars Carnauba Wax on mine - the final part of the 3 step treatment. car still looks great and it cleans very easily afterwards with only water.

Highly Recommended. Swissol and Zymol are also very popular on the forum although I've only used the Meguairs stuff 'cos it lasts ages!

Neither of the Autoglym products are 'Waxes' in the true sense. The Super Resin is more of a very mild polish/paint cleaner. You can leave it on it's own but it's better to top with the Extra Gloss Protection or some kind of wax for better protection.
The Extra Gloss is a Sealant, so in theory, once you have polished the car and it's got a nicely prepped surface you seal it all in with the Extra Gloss. It may also look better the more coats of Extra Gloss you put on the car. It doesn't have any abraisives etc in it, so can be layered.
Hope that helps .
Cheers.
