speak to john wrx tomorrow at the blackpool run ,(dbm stickered up classic with 6 inch zorst) , he does vynals for cars ,he may be able to sort you out ,hope you have some luck with him ,his work is of excelent quality.

 

carefull s/n doesn't like cars with rally grafixs on that you can't buy from prodrive or subaru,look at "scoobynet policy" on locked decals,E4wn,????

Prodrive have complained that we shouldn't be allowing people to sell stickers or drum up business through the board, as that is infringing their work/IPR/trademark/passing off/whatever the proper term is.

Two mates of mine have fully stickered cars, and they look the pup's parts - it's just people cannot sell, offer or generally assist in ripping prodrive off on this board. The STI8 of my mate I saw today really does look simply stunning. It's a work of art .

This could seem somewhat hypocritical or unhelpful - post pics of the cars, but don't talk about how to get 'em - but that is the way legally it's got to be.

chiak, i can't see prodrive any where on the above car so whats it got to with them,all i see is a big scooby swoosh,sponsors logos no prodrive,prodrive doesn't own subaru so its nothing to do with them if above's car got a big swoosh on it,local main scooby dealer had to go to local grafix place to get the same as above is he also in the wrong..dj

 

And Subaru do not say you cant have rally gfx on your car, they get asked all the time do they sell them, and they have said that they are not currently available to the public, but are looking into making them available

I can see prodrive on the front splitter but since when do prodrive own the right to piaa?? All a big bunch of @rse if you ask me, why can't there be prodrive stickers on that car?, it is designed and made by Prodrive after all! I've got a set of P1 front seats and a set of Prodrive mats, but i didn't buy them from Prodrive, does that mean i've got to cut the Prodrive bits off?? FFS Prodrive should be happy they are getting all this publicity and awareness, I mean we probably have some of the best advertising boards on the road, when was the last time someone stopped to stare at a Mondeo?
Anyway if Prodrive are so unhappy with people making money from their name why don't they produce and sell the stickers themselves?? I don't know but they may already do that but i've never seen any advertising for them, but it works for plenty of other companies.

Thats my opinion also.

I havent seen anywhere available to purchase "Official" prodrive stickers.

And as for people making money out of their name, i would say that they cant be making that much out of it but Prodrive are getting massive amounts of advertising out of it.

A small price to pay for people "ripping" of their logo.

I agree its a whole different issue when for example, an exhaust was copied and had the wr sport logo stamped on it and being sold as a prodrive part, thats wrong.

 

I heard that they will not sell stickers, as they dont want everyone and their dog sticking them on any old car, as they dont want their name associated with Saxo/Micra/Corsa etc etc cars

 

its time to get new moderators, ones who will stick up for the subaru driver rather than stick it to them,

if they are allowed to use stickers that is......

that doesn't look like prodrive on the splitter(well not like mine)you are only going to put prodrive decals on scoobs not micra/escort/mini,etc because theres no link between them like subaru wrc team is run by prodrive,
