What spoiler is this?
#1
Selling the current spoiler so we can get an STi6 one. The only thing is we don't know which one is on the car at the mo.
I think it's an STi4 but it looks too wide at the bottom to be one when compared to others.
It also has a small logo embossed on the left under side of the wing (not got a pic yet as the cradle for the camera is at work, will have it tomorrow).
Do you know what this is??? (and if so, do you want to buy it )
Thanks,
Claire

It's an aftermarket add-on available from places like Demon Tweeks and I've seen them every now and again on ebay!
I think it goes by the name of an "Evo" spoiler.
MAFFA has one on his car!

Scoobysnacks,
Its not the Evo.. I had one of those on my car and you're right - it doesn't have a brake light. The Evo doesn't overhang the rear quarters and also sweeps further back of the boot and has softer lines.
Not sure what that one is, despite having seen a few - but don't think its STi I either.

CEL,
I don't think it is Rover or Alfa either - I have seen it on several Scoobs and also Vauxhall Calibras, but that's not to say its not a universal design which could be fitted to any number of cars.

My apologies, there must be more than one 'Evo' spoiler! Doesn't look like the 'Evo' spoiler I purchased for £195 from Prima (now Hart Motorsport) in Stapleford, Nottingham.
I'll dig out some pics or better still, if anyone has the 'Subaru Car of the Decade' video/dvd, you'll see it on there.
ps.. here are the pics - you can see why I was confused, it's clearly a different spoiler.
WOW - this is going back some time - car has changed so much since!

AFAIK the spoiler on my car is an 'Evo' one, but I can't really help as it came with the the car...
Do they look the same?
Just checked and mine has the same logo as yours. So although I can't tell you what it is, at least you know it's not a 'one-off'!

K9VYN,
That one looks similar to mine
Jamie,
Mine came with the car too. Think im going to stick it in for sale forum @ £120 ... see what happens
Got my STI 6 spolier through the post yesterday, only trouble with the spoiler thats on already is the fixing holes, there are some holes in the boot where its fixed that wont be covered up by the STi6. More expense at the bodyshop

CEL,
yes they are similar - but the one i had fitted to my car is a little more on the swoopy/curvy side and has no brake light. there are also no distiguishing markings on it.
i eventually sold it to a guy with a Hyundai coupe - first impressions when offering it up were that it'd look really cool when fitted. its a shame i didn't take his number and get a pic or two, his was a very smart looking motor.
i wonder if there would have been a legal issue over them being branded or named the same?
