Your mission, should you choose to accept it is to find me a Rear Wing like the one below!
I beleive its a Prodrive one, and although I've been on their website I cant find much for a MY00 anyomre...
I know they're similar to the STI 5/6 wings but I like the high level brake light.
Someone please put me out of my misery...
this thread will self destruct in 5 seconds...

although there web page is currently being updated!
Or order it from your subaru dealer for around £8-900

That's a Prodrive spoiler and looks very different to the STI types.
You have very little chance of getting one of these 2nd-hand coz their like rocking horse ****.
Options are:-
1. New from any Subaru Dealer. Cost is £550 + VAT + Painting & Fitting
2. 2nd-hand. Usually go for £350-£400.
3. Breakers. Even rarer than on here I'm afraid
4. Replica. Exact same design, same material and even the same Hella brake light. Only difference is you need to re-use existing wiring connector.
I'll mail you some contact details for the replicas.

DJ73 - what the hell are you blathering about. It's common knowledge these spoilers are bloody hard to get your hands on.
As for the replicas - RB5 286 & Ozzy YHM.

is the another thread for someone looking for the same thing? the prodrive WR spoiler?
Theres a bit of hoo-haa going on about prodrive kicking up a fuss (in the past) about their logo being copied. I know the spoiler I posted from RB5286's car has the logo on but I'm not so fussed about it.
If this helps
also do fundimental have a website? I couldnt find one...

messiah, i don't make these spoilers any longer, the one i got wasn't a very good fit, so i spent loads of time making one that fitted perfect on a boot lid, then took a mould and in about a year i only sold two at £299 Delivered, they had the irmscher lights in, but no one seems to want to pay £299 for a new spoiler
i sell a bug eye lester spoiler £200 cheaper than a place who advertise in the scoobyshop, and people from scoobynet who have mailed me about it, have asked, "is the price painted", when i say the exact same spoiler is £200 dearer at **** how can they expect it painted, theres no reply,
i think a lot of subaru drivers are ripped off for parts so have over compensated, so when it comes to getting a bargain they don't know what to do.......

A bit too late for the one in the For Sale section - London's a bit far for me to collect it anyway - 700 miles there and back.
Pity you're not making these anymore - there's seems to be bit of a demand for them now seeing how many have replied to this thread and posted interest about the one for sale.

i understand what your saying messiah but there was loads of replys when i first put them on but no one wanted one, again i think no one wanted to pay £299
if there is a genuine demand i can pass the details on to the company i sold the mould to,

there's a demand when you can't get them ,soon as you do them no one wants them,p1 splitter, rocking horse, hen teeth, uicorn wotsit, you start making replicas,no one wants them, now people want p1 splitter in carbon (daft idea),when you can get them in c/f nobody will want them, next it'll be plastic, then leather, them ??????? who knows,

well we'll see who wants one from this thread and if there is a demand i can sort something out,
i meant Hella brake light above, the irmscher one is for the calibra evo spoilers i do!

the originals are overpriced and people are too streetwise nowadays on pricing. We 'think' we're always getting ripped off so it's getting harder to see bargains anymore.
If a replica spolier is made of the same material and uses the same brake light component, then it's just as good as the original. Afterall I'm sure Prodrive don't actually make the parts themselves, but just contract it out.
I would have bought an original, but no way am I paying £800 for a spolier. £800 can get me an around the world ticket from BA and a years backpacking. I don't mind spending money, but sometimes people need a reality check.
I would have bought one of the replicas from the very original groupbuy, but we had supply problems and I couldn't wait. Funds had to go elsewhere
If the timings right and the quality is as good as the original, then I'd pay for one.
I have a mental block when it comes to fibreglass, so it'd need to be made from the right material although I'm sure this affects the make-up costs.
Derek, can you explain the different materials and how this affects the costs. Don't need specific details, but it woould make things clearer (for me anyway).
