I am currently thinking of removing the black-plastic side-skirts along with the rear-bumper splitter McThingies, my question is thus...
When the skirts and splitters are removed how much mess is left behind? Are there support brackets riveted into the sill?
Reason being i fancy killing 2 birds with one stone, i.e. avoid colour coding of said parts and 2, be able to fit these mudflaps before the onslaught of winter.
Which brings me onto my second question, does anyone know where these can be bought new? Part numbers etc?
Help and advice appreciated as always.
Carl

Carl, if you remove your side skirts you will be left with 6 holes along the face of the sill where the skirts fix to.
So it you want the skirtless look you would have to have all these holes filled and painted by a bodyshop.
To remove the skirts you need undo the bolts on the underside of the side skirt, then the screw at each end, then gently pull them towards you to release the clips on the sills.
