Question

Hi,

Has anyone fitted mupflaps to their MY03 yet?

I'm looking to fit some - but don't want the STi ones (lots of dosh and a bit to "rally" for my taste). I'm looking for something plain'ish (boring I know). Genuine Subaru would be good.

Pix's would be great :-)

Thanks for the info - Can I be cheeky and ask how much you paid?

They were fitted by the dealer when they supplied the car, on the bill its £100.00 + vat - I don't know if this is the real price or a discounted price because it formed part of the deal.

If I'd got a digital camera I would post a photo - sorry I haven't !!

Give them a ring a 01782 617321 and ask for Mike.

Had a run up to Holdcrofts this afternoon and picked up a full set for just under £25. Will try fitting them in the morning. The flaps are nothing special but look fine on motors Holdcrofts have fitted them too.

Thank you to everyone who's offered advice - much appreciated.

Looks like the £100 + vat on my invoice was fudging figures, never mind Holdcrofts did supply the car and extras at the price I wanted to pay.

I've found that on the rear flaps the plastc rivits that hold the flap to the metal strap separated. To fix it I've drilled through the plastic fixing and fitted pop rivits (I hope this makes sense).

Also where the SUBARU badge is clipped on there was a gap between the badge and the flap that collect vey small stones, to fix it just push the retaining clips on further.

Fitting should be a piece of p--s

Thumbs up

Thanks PJA :-)

I had a look at some of the WRX's at Holdcrofts and they do present the cars very well.
