Removeing v4 spoiler

just had delivered sti5 rear spoiler from scoobyworld.can anybody please tell me how to remove my existing spoiler.i can only see two 10mm nuts,one either side.also how many fixings are reccomended for fixing the new spoiler,their are thirteen fixing points but i dont think that all these have to be used.also in the fixing kit their are ten small black strips has anyone any ideas what these are used for,any comments would be appreciated,i have emailed scoobyworld but upto now have had no reply.you would think that this would come with instructions,unless they have forgot to pack them. any help PLEASE subsy

If you take the rubber protectors out, you will find another 2 nuts that need undoing.
You can fit the new spoiler using the existing 4 holes but I secured mine down with all 13. Depends on whether you are confident in drilling the holes in the boot lid or not!!!
The strips are used as a guide to where to drill. I assume that they are sticky and fit into the holes under the new spoiler. Just a matter of setting up the strips on the spoiler, placing the spoiler correctly on the boot and carefully taking the spoiler off to leave the strips on the boot. Then you can drill your holes!!

thanks for your reply fast boy. still cant understand why they dont give a paper template,i will make one myself.your idea is understood but like you say is a fiddley job to get right. a paper template is far simpler and is quite accurate if useing the old holes which are already in the boot.which rubber bungs are you refering to? subsy
