Question

Hi, I am new to the forum and would like some help if poss. I want to De tango my silver WRX MY01. It has the original Headlight unit and I want to replace the clear bulb with a silver (flashing amber) one and remove the orange globe. I dont know if it is possible to remove the globe or if the headlight is sealed. Any advice is much appreciated. I have sourced all bulbs and side repeater parts and am hoping to obtain some body colour side vents to replace the wedge shaped reflectors.

If anyone could help I would appreciate it. Otherwise I would have to go for a Headlight conversion as I cannot live with orange any longer.

Cheers D

there are few threads relating to de-tangoing on here.

the silvertec bulbs can be obtained from scoobysport and look very smart.

Cool

The front indicator units are easy to replace.
On my MY98 there is just one screw holding it in.
The bulbs which are silver and flash amber are silvertech.
A full set is about £35
A cheaper option is to use the amber bulbs that come with the units
and give them a light spray over with silver paint-
They look silver, but flash amber
Check out TSL.
