Question

wanting to change the lights on my rb5, thinking of either smoked lexus or carbon afterburner/skylines, i saw a couple of you had been changing yours and wanted to know what you thought. please post some pictures if you can coz im still not too sure what they actually look like on the car, cheers

I went for the Carbon Afterburners and my Reddish Blue MY98 4dr Turbo. They look the mutz nutz Especially at night!!!

Wheres your fog light?

i went for the afterburner lights,i have had them colour coded to match my car,they look well smart,i think for what u pay for the sti ones,they dont look much different to the original ones

still pretty undecided,i do like the sti verions but for the price theyre not a very big change. the afterburners look really smart though

i see youve got the rb5 badges done in blue there fudpucker, i got them done blue with red outline but still waiting to get them back. got a pink 'i' badge for the front and sanded it down then repainted it blue, looks smart.

and yeah i have registered at rb5oc

STI have a cleaner look, although they're almost a 10yr-old design. Not sure about those Afterburner lights at all.

Personally, I like these ones

thats the very ones i was thinking of oz, i think the smoked lenses would go really well with the rb5s steel blue colouring. i like the sti lights but i aint paying over 200 quid for them, i like the afterburners too but id want them colourcoded i think, and cant really be bothered with that

what do the cops have to say about these kind of lights anyway? they say 'not e approved', does that mean they'll get you busted

I got a set of new Lexus style lights for my MY95 WRX the same as the bottom ones in one of ozzys earlier posts. My car is black and the chrome rears look the muts.

Oh I forgot to mention I got them for £100 brand new, SWEET!!!
