Anyone bought a sports bonnet, no scoop/vents and adapted it for a WRX. ie cut the holes in it for the scoop and vents.

How easy do you think it would/wouldn't be

More effort than it;s worth, isn't a turbo bonnet only about £150 brand new?

Would be a complete pain in the *rs* to do properly. It's not simply a case of "cutting holes" for the scoop and vents, the proper bonnet is stamped with recesses and mounting lugs for them, something that would be practically impossible to replicate, especially if you were working with a painted part.

If you need a new one, cheapest option would be breakers or pattern part.
