Just looking out of the window at my white STI and have decided to change the orange side repeaters, but what do you think looks best on a white scooby, clear smoked or crystal, and am i right in thinking that you can get some different bulbs that dont look orange but just flash orange when on, if you know what i mean.

Crystal for sure! Yeah you can get "silver vision" bulbs that flash orange, they're expensive compared to normal orange bulbs though.

Crystal look indicators would look great on your white Scoob. Yes, you can get sliver coloured bulbs that do not show up behind the indicator lens but flash orange when activated.
I got the same front and side indicators from a company called Gericia International tel: 0208 361 9222

The side first, then the fronts in a couple of weeks.

Thumbs up

IMHO, smoked would be the dog's danglies on a white car. Really Q car!
Fronts on a classic come off by undoing one bolt at bottom outer foglight fixing, indicator lifts out.

Sides by pushing/sliding unit towards front of car, and lifting out.
