It's for all of us special guys with STi's

My original pink "i" got smashed by a stone so replaced it with the pink stars. Also having a white car all the stickers are pink as well, sorry cerise!

I'd avoid them if I were you, there is a game called car snooker
that the boys in blue have alledgedly been known to play, i.e. pull a red car, yellow, red, green, red etc... Well to cut a long story short, ther are few pink cars on the road so the scooby (with a pink badge) has the dubious honour of being a pink ball car.

(From a Fed mate of mine who will remain nameless)

dont get me wrong, i love the look of the pink badge, but im surprised that Subaru went for a girly colour for their manly car. i`ll give it miss, dont want to be an STI lookie-likie.

As far as I know pink is a 'sporting' colour in Japan - a bit like british racing green. It's a traditional colour. White is also viewed the same way, which is why a large number of Japanese imports are white.

The "pink" you refer to is the color of the cherry blossom trees which are to be seen in the April timeframe all over Japan, nothing to do with sporting actually....

Cherry Blossom is quite important in Japanese culture, so I've been told.

Just to correct the Cherry Blossom story. It's the Japanese National icon, if you like. It's like the English rose, Welsh Dragon, and the like.
