£500! That seems a bit extreme, but as i said earlier i will be doing most of the labour, (stripping doors etc)i think that will be the biggest part of the job,
so basically its only maybe 2 hours work for the painter,
they wont be using too much materials either, the paint will be relatively cheap as its just plain white,
i think the price would be cheaper if you did your own removal and refit of the parts.
id definately shop around for quotes mate.

Could I post my parts to him then!??! I notice you mention the Northern Big One, so I assume he's local to that part of the country? Being way down in the south I might spend a bit more on petrol just to get there?
If he's got a long lost brother living down this way could you let me know?

Andy, where abouts is he based as Im from Stafford. Removing and refitting of the parts wont be a problem for me as I've already got the front door cards off and it will be quite easy from there!!!
Any idea how much it would be for him to do it in Dark Green Mica?
Cheers

Had mine done at weekend, spot on job!
asked him earlier about yours TWOHOT and he said green mica paint is a little bit dearer and as long as there is no damage to repair,
For 4 door handles and 2 mirrors= £80 inc post and packaging
all he needs is the paint code from the vin plate and bobs your uncle!!

Why dont you guys just buy the paint and do it yourself?
It aint hard, I got a bit frisky once and did it to my wing mirrors and handles on my Ford Orion (first car I owned) and it looked well mint. I wouldn't like to try it on anything bigger than mirrors though, not without practice first...
