Swissol/Meguiars
#2
I use meguiars.
I used to swear by autoglym until I was persuaded to try meguiars, the stuff is fantastic.
I did the clear coat body scub, followed by the 3 stage clean.
It gets waxed using gold class wax once a month. Usually I can use the quick detail spray to remove bugs etc, but if it's really dirty then a quick wash and leather and it's shiny again
I buy it from www.meguiars.co.uk
Swissol may be better (although I personally doubt it) but I'm not laying out that amount of cash on the off chance

I will second what Chuckymonster says, its meguiars all the way for me. I just use the gold class shampoo and wax and the scrub stuff to move the marks from the paintwork. Will probably try the three stage body wash next.
Had a look at a MY02 washed and waxed in Swissol stuff and could not see the differance compared to mine washed and waxed with meguairs
Someone one this board has said its Swissol for autoglym money !!
Didn't Mark Underwood used to sell Megauirs before swissol ?

Used to use Meguiars but now use Swissol. If you clean and polish the car properly with Swissol it is amazing, Meguiars is no where near, but is good value for money.
You pay for what you get.

Also use Meguiars here and the stuff is really good. You get excellent value for money and when I spoke to their customer service they recommended I get the body scrub (To use to strip the car of current polish etc) and then to use the Gold Class polish.I also bought the Scratch-X which is good too.The shine and finish is amazing!!!!
Also recommended,is the tyre shine which leaves the tyres looking great. It costs something like £6.99.......
Go for it...
Edited to say my car is an MY01 in wr blue

IMHO Having used both products on a proffesional and personal level
Swizzol is the best you can buy it may seem expensive but in the long run it is not
Meguirs aint a patch on swizzol (IMHO) but for the money it is good value

All great replies - thanks... I must say that it boils down to that old equation quality:quantity or value for money I guess. I run my 03 as a company car, circa. 3,000 miles a month, realistically I only get a few "pride and joy" hours on a Sunday, by the time Monday comes the break dust is back and the rain has come down! I must add, I have used (from new) the Ally Wheel polish that alledges to coat the wheel to stop brake dust corrosion etc. On OZ WRC wheels in silver, seems to do the job, with only warm water rinsing necessary.
