Painting Brake Calipers
#1
I would like to change my STi7's Brembo Callipers fron Gold with a Red logo to Silver with a black logo.
Any suggestions on how I should go about this? I dont want to muck it up!

Dead easy. Remove wheel, and clean caliper. You can get proprietry brake cleaner, I used alloy wheel cleaner, then old paintbrush and washing up liquid, then clean hot water, when I did my old ones.
Paint with chosen paint: virtually any will do, from engine laquer to Hammerite, (but that needs special thinners to clean the brush after), to actual expensive caliper paint. Take your time, and give them two coats-- if you're using Hammerite, you can recoat after about half an hour. Other paints are about an hour or so on a warm dry day.
Once it's hardened off, about 2 hours, pick out the lettering with a smaller brush in your chosen colour. Be as careful as poss, but don't worry if you make a mistake, wipe it off, or touch up in the other colour later to tidy it. It really is harder to describe than to do.
