Always thought about it but never did it cos of that "not getting value for money" feeling. Have I missed anything from this list and can it be gotten cheaper. Cheers.
Rear Light Clusters £250 + Vat
STi Front Lip £150 + Painting + VAT
STi Fog lamp covers £70 + Painting + VAT
STi Stickers for covers £10 + VAT
STi Grill Badge £24.99
Colour coding skirts £200 + VAT
Now once you put ya VAT onto that little lot you are lookig at the best part of £950 notes. To put it into perspective, To convert a Vecra LS into a GSi lookalike £730 all in (Including backbox) BMW 325 into M3 £540
Saxo into VTR and then some £450 was about average.
Same whinge as always really, Hundreds of pounds on plastic, which we spray up. Plastic costs bugger all, so howcome a 6ft long 2 inch wide strip which has been heated and bent to fit the contours of my car costs over £100 unpainted 2 pieces of plastic measuring about 6inches square, again bent to fit ONTO my existing car £70 odd quid.
Now apart from second hand buys etc (Which I have tried numerous times but end up dealing with baffoons, "sorry mate, i sold it locally for more" "I'm on the motorway to your house already" ) is it possible to sort out me car without spending shed loads again?
Theres the challenge, who'll take it on?

Also, you would have to colour code the door handles & rear view mirrors.
In addition, you need gold wheels, as all ver 5 or 6 STI had gold wheels, no matter the body colour of the car...not to forget the high level rear wing, which was standard too.........
As for the fog lamp covers, AFAIK the ones from STI are already pre-painted & stickers are already on them..at least mine came like that.
