Hi all, Subaru just told me that STI fog covers aren't available until 10 of this month but they fit perfectly without any modification to WRX and they comme painted with the STI logo.
One month now and still waiting, great Subaru after sales...!
I'll post some pictures when I fit them.
Cheers

spoke to my local dealer a couple of weeks ago and they said subaru had only one cover in stock, can't remember if he said the price was £26 or £36 either way a bargain in my opinion considering they're colour coded and with the logo on.
My order goes into tomorrow for the covers and also the prodrive back box ready for it's up and coming first service.
Them morrettes in the wr blue look the dogs, get the fog covers on and what a cracking front end.

anymore on this, did the covers fit ??.
if so how much are the sti covers £26 is the same price as the clear plastic clip on jobbies, I would expect the plastic bumper mounted ones to be a lot more exspensive.
cheers

Sorry for the delay I was away from home last weeks.
Finally STI03 fog light covers fit directly to WRX03 without modifications, it's a 10 min job.
The only problem is that I need now the side STI air splitters (those that are near fog light covers on bumper) to have a complete - if not better due to lower WRX air scoop - STI look.

Thanks mate but I don't like my car to looks like an STI and performs as it is, I'd prefer the fog covers with WRX logos if possible.
Although I'll paint the side skirts and waiting for a high level Rallytech rear spoiler that is much better than the STI(IMHO).
I am waiting also for a set of gold OZ SuperL to complete my styling mod.

jimtheo,
with them mods you mention,it'll look just an sti,let me know how you rate the rallytech spoiler when you get it,it's the one i was looking at myself.I like the fact it uses the existing mounting points.

Steve I'll post some photos when I receive my Rallytech spoiler and a set of Gold OZ SuperL but from what I've informed the quality of Rallytech products and painting from DRMotorsport is top!
We'll see...

AFAIK they cost about 80+ GBP and they include stickers, all the new Subaru external plastic parts are prepainted, at least this is what the local dealer told me!
Of course they are expensive but IMO they worth the different look along with the plastic STI bits (air dams) near the fog covers.

Pedro I'll ask again how much they cost and I'll send you a pair, drop a mail. Although I believe the price they quoted you is wrong and includes also the air dam skirts (2 fogs + 2 air dams).

Jim I don't know how to thank you! If you want here's my email: gtramos@netcabo.pt. Just one thing, do you think that those air dams are too expensive ?
Let me know soon as you get some news...

Nick my front end is exactly the same with STI8 and better IMO as I have a WRX hood scoop that is nice against this monster scoop on STIs!
I'll ask next monday for prices as Subaru dealers are closed for the weekend.

here Stateside they retail for $110 USD for the pair
they do come prepainted.... and they do clip right on
as far as the side splitters...
in order to attach them to your WRX PROPERLY (as is on the STi)
you'd need to drill holes in your bumper face!!! (on the sides)
what the guys here are doing is using super strong adhesive (double sided tape) rather than drilling holes in the bumper face.
there was a thread/discussion on www.impreza.net
i can try to find the photos of the install if you need/want them.
good luck

Jamie I used 3M two part epoxide adhesive in the middle and Bayer silicon (rubber) based elastic paste in the edges to glue the splitters on mine and have test them more than 20 times from 200 to 220km/h speeds where they get high pressure due to aerodynamic!
No problem so far after 5000kms!
