Anybody use anything better than a chamoise to dry their car? I think they can be a bit harsh on the paint, or is it just me?
Cheers.

Derek.

Autoglym do a blade for £12.99 which gets rid of the majority of the standing water.(They're available from Halfords)You can then finish off with a chamois leather which is in effect, what I do.Don't have any problems with my chamois though!! (I use warm/hot water in a bucket and constantly rinse the chamois to keep it 'soft' so to speak!!)
You might wanna consider changin your chamois though....

Cheers

Nick

Use a good quality cotton hand towel (after using a blade). Most valeters I've seen lately don't use chamois any more.

Yes Stuart that was what I thought. I wasn't sure what they used instead though. Right off to the linen cupboard to nick the best towel in the house!
