Can Anyone Help?

I've just ordered a WRX boot sticker for my UK turbo but I'm worried about removing the chrome S U B A R U badge and impreza sticker, has anyone out there done this as I dont want to damage the paintwork.. Do the letters and stickers come off easily without leaving any marks?

The Impreza sticker just peals off, SLOWLY, warm it first with a hair drier if you can.
Then as Chiark says: warm first, and use WD40 to clean off any residue.

What are you doing with the chrome letters after they are off? I may have them off you if you want to sell at the right price.
