Question

Just bought some STI (non-mesh) foglight covers from the land of 'Freedom Fries'. They came with screws & brackets, but no instructions.
Does anyone know how to fit a set of these? Do the foglights have to be removed for the covers to fit?
Cheers, Marcus

I have the genuine STi mesh ones on mine and here's how I fitted mine: (The procedure for yours should be the same/similar)

Remove the bottom outer edge screw from each foglamp (ie lower left screw on left hand lamp and lower right screw on right hand lamp ** Note left being offside and right being nearside of car **)

Then push the bracket into the hole where you removed the screw and secure it with the screw that you removed. (My brackets didn't have left and right on em so you may need to play around until you get em the right way round!!)

Push the foglamp cover over the foglamp recess and the hole in the bottom of the cover should mate up to the bracket, then secure with the screws that came with the covers!!

Done!!

Good luck

Nick

NOTE2: You don't need to remove the foglamps!!

Markus,

any chance of posting a piccy when done and details of where you got the covers from.

I was going to get the mesh covers like Nick but they only come in blue or black and would therefore need painting in Blue/Black Mica to match my car which is too much hassle.

Cheers

Chris
