Has enyone ever filled and smoothed the roof runners on a classic.

i have got them off at the moment to re-spray the car and am considdering fitting and smoothing the roof completely.

What do you think ????

 

They are there to lead rain from the roof etc down the front and rear screens, and not down the sides, into the car when you open the windows.
Also, they have the roofrack fittings beneath them. If you can live with the first, and without the second, go for it.

It will deff. never see a roof rack and hopefully not much if any rain so i'll look into it
