Hi Dude!
Eddie is right, but that one will not fit an MY99-00, but this one will,

Cheers, Rob.

I really like that one and was thinking of going for it but I really like this one where the number plate fits on the bottom.
Does anyone know who makes one like this for the MY00?

Yeah guys, it's a good question. I'm after a front splitter for a MY00 - really like the MRO one, but want a number plate panel on lower lip if possible. Anyone know where or who does them??
Also, if i had to go for the MRO, is it legal to use an adhesive number plate on the curved lower lip? - or... can you stick a normal plate on there?

Thumbs up

I could modify the mould for the 93-98 lip to fit the 99-00, but when I was designing them, I noticed that you cant remove the original mount from the later bumper as it is moulded in. Didnt think this would look too good.
If there is enough demand, I will make a lip in the style of the late one to fit the 99-00.
Cheers, Rob.

Sorry if i'm being a bit thick here Rob, but am i right in assuming that you have something to do with MRO? If so can you just explain your last post ... when you said about moddifiing the lip if there's enough demand. Do you mean basically getting the MRO front air dam for 99-00 models, and adding a number plate recess? or would it be more like the more squared off boxy shape of the older model lip - ie the top picture - and changing the fittings for a 99-00??

Hi Dxx,
Yes, MRO is my own business
I could do either, alter the 99-00 lip to have a number plate recess, or adjust the fit of the 93-98 lip to fit the 99-00. Can I have some opinions please, what do you lot want?

Cool

I prefer the look of the new curved spoiler for the 99-00. Not sure what it would look like with a number plate recess though - also could perhaps be a little lower - esp at the sides. Also, if you were to number plate recess the new one, unlike the top picture - would be much better if the recess gap was only just number plate size - not any bigger. - gaps either side of plate detract from the look.

I think the top bumper plate must be smaller than regulation, as our numberplate fits perfectly in the gap...

Yes, you are right there, the top one is on a car from Finland. The air dam was designed around a standard UK legal plate.
Cheers.

Rob, is there any way that you can show us what a new aged curvy front lip would look like with a plate recess??
Cheers Dxx
