Dark Blue Mica MY95 WRX ?

Hi All,
Anyone know if Subaru ever did Dark Blue Mica on the MY95 WRX's ? I seem to remember the DBM colour just being on UK cars or more recent (98+) WRX's ? Or am I wrong? !
Basically Im thinking of buying one and was wondering if it was a respray job or whether is actually could have been that colour from the factory !
Any help greatly appreciated !
