Got the paint code off the vin plate on the passenger side suspension turret, it was 792. Went to halfords to get some paint mixed up for the car to colour code a few things. Turns out they have three different shades of paint with that same code.
Halfords Code:
792 8156
792 8156/D
792/1 M009

As ever nothing is simple in this world. Has anyone got any idea which one it might be or where i would find another paint code on the car which might have the xtra numbers with it.

Can they not match it to your car with their colour chart?

 

did not know they had one, none was offered!
Maybe another case of a sales assistant who does not care, try another branch me thinks!

yeah they should have, or any half decent motor factor that mixes paint will.

i bought some paint mixed from halfords , my code is 792 , he got his chart and there was only 1 colour of 792 in his chart

and its a perfect match
