Cost me £150 at my local family run bodyshop, cash in hand job.

That incuded removal and re-fitting of skirts and rear spats and having a front lip sprayed and fitted.

Cool

Had mine done. But went to a top bodyshop.

Hence it cost about £400 for the set. It could definitely be done cheaper than that though, probably £200 i would reckon.

Cool

Cost me £80 got a mate who works at a body shop. I think he will do them for anyone around the Brighton area but you will have to take them off/on yourself.

Benachimp - Glad you are happy with it, a little loud eh! You so dont want to hear the drainpipe we fitted to my bros car then!

Met - Call Jerry on 01442 264 104, he will prob want to see the car to quote on it, ask him face to face about a 'deal for cash', he will see you right.

Just been round to my neighbours garage

200 quid they quoted to do my side skirts and rear bumbers

that includes removal sanding down, plastic primer, and then colour code, and re-fitting, 2 days max

they had an escort cossie ( or what I thought was ) when I asked who's it was they told me it was a fake, but one they had done as a demo for their body shop & styling, they are moving to new premises in Warrington in a couple of weeks too

POC wouldnt mind hearing a Blitz, but prolly wouldnt like to own one

test tomorrow will be when i head back down to bristol, and see how it goes for that length of journey

PC Dude

I seem to remember reading a thread about side skirts needing special treatment before spraying to get the paint to stick properly. I'm not sure if this is true so apologies if this is incorrect.

I was told by the guys I spoke to that 90% of the time the paint will bond, all depends on how good a key they do first

but they did say that the odd ones, can go a bit wrong, with paint flaking off

and they told me, they would sand down the skirts first, then plastic primer, then two pack paint

I got mirrors, door handles and full set of 4 skirts done for £120, but I had to take them all off, and refit them myself.
