Unhappy

Got my fog lamp protectors today, but dealer quoted over 50 quid to paint em. That sound steep to me! Any idea if this is over the odds and where can do em cheaper (esp. near london?)

For such a small item can I do it myself or will it be too noticeable? I'm 02 DGM paint. Anyone know the paint code / where from?

thanks

Ed

Yeah there is such a small surface area visible Im sure I can get away with doing it myself. £50+ is just silly. Anyone know if / where I can get MY02 Dark Green Metallic???

Look up "Automotive (or"car") paint suppliers", yellow pages. A visit to their premises will show them the paint code, but on my '98 UK, it's on a plate on the n/s inner wing. Expect to pay £8-10 for an aerosol.
Be sure to do the job in 2-pack paint, or you WILL see the difference under certain lights, eg: sodium vapour street lamps.
