I know its not for a scoob...(its for a Honda Civic)
but they are Carbon Fibre!!

this is what the makers say too.......

'Most of the custom taillamps have been based on the Toyota Altezza, which is known in the U.S. as the Lexus IS300. These types of custom taillights have become known as "Altezza" style taillamps. Our models are all made to manufacturers OEM specifications & SAE DOT approved, so they will not leak, 100% legal and give you perfect lighting. All are our new Generation 3 lights and made for the latest models. Other new & approved models are forthcoming WITH SAE-DOT COMPLIANT CERTIFICATE/CARD ON EACH MODEL.
Information: One major issue is that most of the Altezza style taillamps on the market are missing functionality which existed in the OEM taillight. Functionality which is required for certification with the SAE standard. OURS has all the functionality of the original.
In addition, many of these other types of taillamps may have sealing problems (just check any message board). The SAE symbol on our taillights indicate that the manufacturers have certified that the tailights conform to the indicated SAE standards of the indicated year.
WITH SAE DOT COMPLIANT CERTIFICATE PLUS A COMPLIANT WALLET CARD ON EACH MODEL'

if enough interest i could get!!

Phil

Phil, I can't believe the lack of response you've had to these. I think they look the puppies pipe and would order a set immediately if I knew a) the price, and b) that this isn't a wind up !! They look V.Cool.

not a wind up.
one of my neon suppliers can make these for me!
only need an order of 100 to make it worth while.
i've asked them to check to see they don't already do a Subaru fitment...as they do do a lot of jap cars anyway!
i thinkk the Pre 01 would look ace with a carbon look! (classic)

i posted in Styling as ppl who r interested will look...if it were in general....i'd hav loads of replies!

if enough interest i'll get more info from them.

Carbon price would be around £300.
maybe cheaper!
see ing that these see these sort of lights sell between £200-300 anyway thats not bad..is it.

they can also do the same in BLACK!!

and CLEAR!!

these are all Honda Civic 2door (for now)

Phil

They're well smart. I'd buy a set.

Mind you, with all the talk of companies supposedly making lexus style rears for the classic shape, I'm still waiting to see a set actually produced.

You guys like that? Over here in the States they have been getting over used and a new term was born. Rice. That is a ricey aftermarket piece. I hope you don't put them on the Scubys, it disrupts the rally heritage!

Sorry, let me change my comment, If it's carbon fiber, go for it since it shaves off weight.
