Default Front Splitter Fitting Kit

Hi All,

Looking recommendations on fittings for front plastic abs splitter.

Ive lost/sheered a lot of the self tapping retaining screws due to vast number of potholes and restricted access points (scraping on the ground). Was going to just use a few nuts and bolts but would prefer something less sturdy to allow the flwx so that it doest get cracked/split.

Good quality stainless bolts, nuts and large penny washers along with some Loctite threadlock. I always fit mine with this combo now and never have any issues.

What he ssaid.^^^^

www.yell.com enter bolt and nut stockist, visit and pay a couple of £ for a handful of what you need.
Decent one will also have threadlock

Or buy stainless Nyloc nuts.

To be honest you can buy suitable stainless bolts, nuts & washers along with threadlock from Screwfix easily enough these days. Simples.

Something like an M6 x 20mm long hex head screw in A2 stainless would be fine.

Fitted my last splitter with M8 which was massive overkill, but still worked a treat. It all works.
