To front splitter or not to front splitter?
Hi,
I don't intend to modify the exterior styling on my classic, apart from new alloys.
However, in saying that, I am taken by front splitters.
Are front splitters purely cosmetic, or do they help direct air to where ever it needs redirecting?
Just curious really.
Woka

They supposedly aid front downforce, but not sure the effects would be significant enough that you'd feel a difference. I certainly didn't notice a change, but perhaps you would if you did enough track time in your scoob.
It's worth thinking about the practical side of having one though, I removed mine after a couple of weeks due to the loss of clearance and it catching frequently. I don't regret taking mine off, but some folks on here seem happy with the practical compromise for aesthetics.
