Default Rusted rear arches

OK so it's time to do the rear arches on the classic.....no surprises there then....

After googling and searching on forums I have some questions....am fairly average to good at fabrication and welding but certainly not professional.

1) Have been looking on ebay and found these repair panels and wondered if anyone had experience with them.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121785758693

Are the decent profiles and decent metal, have had panels in the past that are just so thin.....

2) I've been reading a lot that front wing profiles reverse into rear fos--->rns and visa versa and how much time would it save from fabricating my own from a £20 sheet of sheet steel.

That looks a good job done, there seems to be more competition with the rear arches now, so there coming down in price.

Have ordered some up at that price and will take some before, during and after. I know a lot have used front arches but for £40 a side youd do well to get a decent 2nd hand wing and a lot more work to cut what you need.

Cheers for the help, made my decision easier

Similar items were used when I had the rear arches done on mine.

Waiting on delivery of a set for my P1. Not ideal for a 2 door but will do after a bit of chopping but for that price, couldn't resist.

What sort of price would a body shop charge for the cutting, welding and spraying with those arches supplied by me.
