I have a 1996 WRX and was wondering if the front lip of a 98 would fit on my car ?

I don't have pics up as yet, I was just looking up lips for the E-GC8 model off Ebay but the results were all 98-01 or 97-99...

You'll need a 98>01 bumper to run than splitter as they are completely different.

The jun splitter is a choice that a few have used on your bumper?

You need 1992 to 1996 I believe, there isn't many types of splitters for that bumper

The later splitters are a completely different shape and will need a good craftsman to make them fit and looks proper.

Tell me about it . I don't want to do to much to the car . As I like the standard look. Or I think they call it a sleeper look. But would of like just to have a bit of a lip on the front .
I did get told to take my fog lights out to run air flow into the engine bay .
But I don't no if that would look nice. I no you need to get air into the engine , but then that's what the big scoop is for .
I was also thinking about getting the newer bonnet scoop . But I think it not just a case of changing the scoops . I think the under tray has to be changed as well.
I may be wrong about that .
& I hope someone can put me right about the bonnet scoop,
Never mind I just keep the front bumper the way it is .
It would of been nice to of done it as I little lip at the front do look nice. & what with the side and back trim it would looked nice , I think anyway .
But then we all like different things and looks , if we all like the same God the car would be boring

I like that she looks nice .
Don't blame u for wait . If your fitting a fmic then there is no point yet fitting it till that's done .
But I like it . That will loo nice. How much did you pay or did your mate pay if u don't mind me asking .
I have found some on eBay . I think they want £65 for it
But I was hoping just to get the small lip . But there is going to be to much work to make it fit. So I will most probley get the one you have .
You will have to post a pic of when it's fitted ,all done with the fmic . I bet it will look the part

Yea looks the same more or less.

Its a bit of a faff to get it to fit. To fix it just drill a couple of holes in the ends.

But I was hoping to get one like this. But they say it's only for a 1997 & up .
But then again I do like the look of your one . So I may go for that one.
Plus the other one may look smaller but getting it to fit I bet is a pain in the ***.
& not just to make it fit but to make it look right . And not held on my tape . Lol .
