Long story short I bought a scoop and it's a bit rough It was painted in halfords paint which I think is acrylic and it had a single stage clear coat. Now I've found that some old paint underneath has never hardened off. So I want to removed it all as far back as it will go with a thinner if possible.

Which thinner do I ask for? as there is quite a few like cellulose, 2k, universal etc.

 

Go all the way back to the plastic with Nitromors and repaint it.
