Ref was a joke but thought we put in a good solid performance and showed that we can hold a good attacking team at bay. Good to see we are moving in the right direction.

Milner is a pile of w4nk, why on earth did we keep him on the pitch for so long I dont know! He is far too hesitant and lacking confidence to be playing out on the wing.

Agree about Milner, the ref wasn't great and we need to play with a bit more tempo to support the strikers but other then that i thought we were going to lose before the game so a draw was better than expected.

I thought England were bad last night, another typically boring display with no creativity or 'spark' in midfield. I've been watching the last week whilst abroad on holiday and I wasn't the only England supporter to groan at our performances.

I watch other teams in this tournament and find many of the games far more enjoyable to watch yet every time I watch an England game i'm sitting there waiting for something to happen. After 25 minutes Ukraine had 7 attempts on goal and England had none. It was awful to watch.

I can't see us beating Italy unless they massively up their game (and Italy have an off day) as so far we've been shocking, the Sweden game defensively we were useless and so top teams will expose that far more than has been done so far. And if we have trouble scoring against Ukraine then how do they think they will get through Italy's defence.

The only + for me has been the work rate of the team as well as the team spirit as well as Steven Gerrard, he's been playing some of his best football for England in this tournament.

Still we didn't expect anything from this tournament at least we get Sunday night, maybe Hart and Lescott can upset Balotelli and he loses the plot

Gerrard has been pretty good I cant complain about that.

I disagreed with it before and last night confirmed it, we look a different team when Rooney is in it. I dont think he should be playing. I know that will go alot against most here but we looked half decent in the first two games, why change things around to accomodate someone who IMO doesnt deserve his place in the England team.

I would rather be facing Spain on the Saturday (for the drinking opportunity too) than Italy on Sunday. Italy look alot more clinical than Spain who look clueless at the moment. Seems theyve spent too much time training on how to pass and forgot how to shoot. Spain are there for the taking.

Not that we would get past Germany in the Semis anyway

At least we can say we were able to support our country at a major tournament.
