Would have thought they would have let him have a chance next season, what exactly were they expecting this year?

Probably best for all concerned, but i'd have given him another year.

Kenny came in when the club needed him. Witness Hodgsons England squad (Terry FFS!) to see under him we were going nowhere.

Kenny s major failing is that he was too loyal to the players. Downing (another player off to the Euros) shouldn't be in any team in the Premiership imho. Kenny should have realised his mistake and stuck him in the reserves. But no, he saw something( God knows what) and stuck with it.

He was, and forever will be, a legend at my club.

I hope that FSG have a replacement ready to go, but the statement doesn't look promising, and that worries me more than anything.

Who would I like? The Special One.
Who would I realistically expect us to get? Rafa.
Who do I think we'll end up with? Lambert or Martinez. The latter worries me to hell.

Still as one of the 3 teams to win a trophy this year, it's not all bad.

Liverpool ended the season with 52 points — their lowest ever total in the Premier League — The Anfield outfit also had their fewest wins in a top-flight season, 14, since 1953-54 and scored their fewest top flight goals in a season (47) since 1991-92.

Impressive stuff

You'll be polishing your bell ends for years to come because they'll be no EPL or ECL for the foreseeable future.

Although you're already well versed in the art.

Where in the transition do Carrick, Old Father Time 1 (Scholes), old Father Time 2 (Giggs), Rafael, Fabio, De Gea et al fit in? Regarded as first team players by your fans, not regarded that way at all by everyone else.

Liverpools owners had a meeting with Dalglish and asked him to put himself in their fans shoes...

He's now unemployed and on the dole.
