Default So let's sum the season up with the stats that matter.

There are only 3 domestic trophies available, ranked in terms of importance.

Premier League........ Man City.
Fa Cup.................. Chelsea.
Carling Cup............. Liverpool.

Commiserations to all those teams that ended up without a trophy this season. Better luck next year eh.

The stats that matter:

Man Utd 1 Man City 6
Man City 1 Man Utd 0.

Isn't that what would be called a "twelve pointer"?

United were bossed more in the 1-0, strangely. That's what must really stick in the Utd fans craw, that City were head and shoulders above in both games, and Utd choked. Love it.

And your point is?

Anyway - how are City going to cope with the financial fair play rules?

This is like Ferguson's comment on City only having to play against ten men and having been given five minutes injury time. Hypocrisy!

None of the big clubs will have an issue circumnavigating this, what would FIFA/UEFA do, kick them all out of competition ? I doubt it because their major sponsors would bail immediately and the TV companies wouldn't pay the premium rates for showing LFC playing Champions League football for example.

In fairness, I also heard comments about 10 men and 5 mins extra time.
But its taken out of context the way its written above

"Everybody expected City to win, but they did it against ten men for half an hour and with five extra minutes to help them."

I'm not sure what other context you could possibly take that in to be honest. He wouldn't have bought it up otherwise.

Not really, we've only got to worry about city, that's the thing we haven't had to worry about anything other than one possible contender for 21 years straight.

Unlike LFC who for a few years had to worry about 3 clubs until 4 years ago they had to worry about 5 teams, next season they'll have to worry about 11 teams.

The Americans will be renaming the club to KFC in honour of Kenny, but in truth it will be a marketing ploy to tie up some well needed revenue, naming rights to the ground sold and remained "The Bargain Bucket ", the Liverbird crest will be replaced with a chicken although this will end up in court as the venkys take colonel sanders to court after proclaiming they had the idea first for Blackburns new crest, you win but it was a costly exercise which will lead to the club having to sell their kit rights and the shirt changes to a red and white stripped shirt with Colonel Sanders face on the front.

I'd rather have our challenge thank you

I agree It's not jealousy it's envy.

Every fan wants what United have had

Ask any city fan.

Suck it up Utd fans and take it like men, you've had this coming for some time. You can't go around being smug and self-righteousness for your successful years and not expect payback when you get knocked off your perch

Talking of perches, I think I found them . . .

They're not in decline at all, they have a new up and coming young team.

City on the other hand should show leadership and discipline to several of their players, because Mancini is now seen as a bit of a soft boy after the Teves and Balotelli incidents

Losing the title will do United the world of good
