Fingers crossed he'll pull through, shocking for someone so young but they do train so hard these days they put a lot of strain on their heart - you can be too fit...

I've read his heart stopped 4 times, including whilst on the pitch

If so, fair play to the paramedics for saving this guys life before he got to hospital!!

Not a good day for football, hope the lad pulls through and makes a full recovery. I've never seen players so upset before and they were visibly distressed (as you would be I suppose), Rafael Van Der Vart was even praying on the pitch.

Critical this morning. I also heard that he still wasn`t breathing when they took him off the pitch after 9 mins. Probably end up a cabbage if that`s the case.
