He had two MMA fights, got battered by Tim Silvia, and retired. So not sure if he is doing Strongman again.

No He's not in it this year, he's still wasing his time in MMA .
I watched the silvia fight, couldnt stop laughing. Also watched the butterbean fight. also funny.

the WSM is on Bravo agian this year, the pre-qualifiers have been on this week but the proper contest starts on sunday @ 8pm.

I know lol! They still keep raising the bar and this year the lifts in deadlift and overhead lifts compared to previous are up my some margin.

No unfortunately. Mark Felix had the potential but his strategy was all to **** on many occasions. Big Terry Hollands has been high as third but I think he's past his best. Brian Shaw the American should have won last year and is going to take some stopping this year. A genuinely nice bloke he is, as is our own Loz Shahlei who defies belief with his own feats of strength. On his day I think Shahlei can keep up with the best in the world.

I think Shahlei is the Brit to watch. Big Tel is a bit of a one trick pony now.
Anyone see Loz Shahlei on Del or No Deal earlier in the year? He looked huge against "normal" people. I never saw him actually have his day, just saw him as one of the box openers. Did they mention he was a strongman at all?

Very true.

A few years back my training partner worked on the door with Lee Bowers who made it to WSM one year. Had to pay to get there, for his efforts he got a t-shirt and some protein powder lol! Pretty pi$$ poor for being one of the best in the world at his chosen sport.
